An instrumental version of 'Change' closes the album.
It features some odd instrumentation including Finger Bells, Güiro and ukulele.
The track also includes the sound of a chirping cricket that was recorded on Minidisc one night in the back garden.
The end result is a Polynesian sounding piece that in some ways is at odds with the rest of the album which is dominated by so many themes connected to the arid interior of the Australian landscape.
Perhaps, the gentle chords of the ukulele at the end of the album point us towards a distant and very different backdrop for the second album...far more nautical in its themes and metaphors than the earthiness and grit explored on 'Lines Are Drawn'.
Until then, keep listening.
Bye now.
